Every 2 months we meet together to pray for the work of the Besom, it's givers, the churches it works with and the many people in need across the City.

 

Our most recent prayer meeting was on  Wednesday 16th September at Millthorpe School Library (Hosted by York Evangelical church). The theme was "Celebration" - We spent time thanking God for all the lives transformed through Besom and all the things that God has provided through givers. Click here to read more!

 

 In July 2009 we met at St. Michael le Belfrey, prayer was focused on three areas: Summer Soul (a student mission), The city of York & The work of Besom.

In May this year we had a Prayer meeting jointly hosted by St Paul's, Holgate. We thank God  for being able to pray with Christians from all over York, praying for the work of the Besom in York and specifically for the needs of the Holgate area.

In March we met at Acomb Baptist Church for a prayer meeting jointly hosted by St. Aidan's and St. Stephen's churches in Acomb. We had a great evening together praying for Acomb and the work of Besom in that area.
