Previous givers have given money towards:

• Buying specific objects - e.g. a new cooker or Bed; for a recipient.
• For a specific area of the city or people group. e.g. Acomb
• Towards administration costs e.g. Salary to pay a Coordinator
• Support other givers - e.g. to buy Decorating materials or professionally install a cooker.
• To solve a specific problem - e.g. heating.

Giving outside of York

The Besom in York are also able to help you to give to any sort of need outside of York. We will do this by referring you to a Besom office in London. The Besom funds grassroots projects in countries and areas of need specified by those giving the money, whether a small sum or a large sum. Projects funded vary but are always long-term, of a capital nature, and aim permanently to improve the quality of life of a community. The Besom can also help you to find specific need and projects. In all cases the aim is to help you give to a need that you are prayerfully passionate about and will see that 100% of the money helps that need.
